About The Position

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, the Turndown Attendant is responsible for providing evening housekeeping services that enhance guest comfort and create a relaxing, welcoming environment. This role focuses on preparing guest rooms for the evening, ensuring cleanliness, ambiance, and attention to detail in line with luxury service standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently, especially during evening shifts

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Perform evening turndown service in assigned guest rooms and suites in accordance with hotel standards
  • Prepare rooms for the evening by: Turning down beds and refreshing linens as needed, Adjusting lighting, closing curtains, and creating a comfortable ambiance, Refreshing towels, toiletries, and in-room amenities
  • Lightly clean and tidy guest rooms, including: Removing trash and used items, Straightening furniture and guest belongings as appropriate, Wiping surfaces and refreshing bathrooms
  • Replenish water, amenities, and any in-room offerings as required
  • Ensure all guest requests are fulfilled promptly during service hours
  • Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and functionality of all items
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly
  • Respect guest privacy and follow all security and confidentiality procedures
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and service areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of cleaning products
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding room status and guest needs
  • Assist with special requests or additional evening services as required
