About The Position

This role is for a Turnaround Coordinator to support a plant in Mont Belvieu, TX, with an expected duration from now until March 2027. The position involves verifying and gathering all aspects of job plans, ensuring accuracy between field data and drawings, inputting job information into IPS, and assisting with scheduling logic and sequencing. The coordinator will also validate Bill of Materials (BoMs), coordinate with various departments (scheduling, materials, document controls), monitor contractor progress and safety, manage contractor headcount, and collaborate with inspections to identify additional work. Responsibilities include filling out AWR/delay forms, attending rollover meetings, and potentially assisting with maintenance and capital work assignments.

Requirements

The ability to read at a level to understand written safety procedures, work procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals is required.

Responsibilities

Verify and gather all aspects of the job plan, including job steps, inspection type/duration, required durations, resources, materials, valve/piping specifications, and field pictures.
Check for and resolve any discrepancies between field data and drawing data.
Notate plans and drawings.
Input all job information into IPS.
Assist scheduler with logic and job sequencing.
Validate BoMs contain all required materials for executing each job.
Coordinate with scheduling, materials, and document controls.
Follow assigned contractors/jobs and verify progress and safety throughout all phases.
Coordinate work through contract supervision and eliminate any obstacles that could prevent advancement.
Work with scheduler to monitor contractor productivity throughout all phases.
Monitor contractor's head count and ensure it is appropriate for the work fronts.
Work with inspections to identify any additional/discovery work.
Fill out AWR/delay forms as needed.
Attend rollover meetings and status all assigned work.
Maintenance assistance.
Potential Capital work assignments.
