The Global Turnarounds (GT) organization provides governance, planning, and execution oversight for LyondellBasell's large and mega-complexity turnaround events, typically exceeding $50 million in spend. These events are critical to maintaining asset safety and reliability, operational excellence, and long-term business performance across the company's manufacturing network. The Turnaround Engineering Manager is responsible for leading turnaround engineering, project integration, and early scope development activities across multiple turnaround events. Through direct leadership of the Turnaround Engineering team, this role ensures engineering readiness, effective integration of capital and expense work, and successful delivery of critical pre-event milestones. The position plays a key role in aligning operations, maintenance, engineering, and project organizations under a "One Team" approach to turnaround planning and execution. Working closely with Turnaround Event Managers and site leadership teams, the Turnaround Engineering Manager drives implementation of the Turnaround Excellence Model and provides governance over engineering and project integration deliverables to achieve turnaround objectives related to safety, scope, cost, schedule, and quality. The role is responsible for identifying and mitigating execution risks while ensuring engineering resources are effectively deployed across a portfolio of turnaround events. The position resides within the Global Asset Integrity and Turnarounds (GAIT) organization and reports to the Director, Global Turnarounds. Periodic travel within the United States is required to support turnaround preparation, readiness reviews, and execution activities.
