About The Position

Ryan Lawn & Tree is seeking a Turf Route Specialist I to manage a route of 400-500 customers, delivering excellent account management and customer service. This role involves performing turfgrass applications, fertilization, disease control, and other lawn care services. Ryan Lawn & Tree is a growing company with a mission to raise the bar in the lawn and tree care industry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT certification required
• Holds a state-issued pesticide applicator license (turfgrass)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a route of 400–500 residential and commercial lawn care customers
• Perform weed control, fertilization, and other turf treatments
• Provide exceptional customer service and account management
• Handle turf bid requests and create proposals for potential clients
• Efficiently manage daily routes to ensure timely and quality service
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive lawn care solutions
