This job is demanding and rewarding. This job isn't for everyone. You're the right person if you've done something extraordinary early – designed rocket injectors, led a competition team (e.g., Formula SAE, AIAA Design/Build/Fly) where you owned propulsion, aerothermal, or fluid networks, or done propulsion work in an internship that most engineers don't see for years. You love building and want to work long, smart, and hard to create things that have real impact. You want ownership, not a lane, on a team with other high performers. You get more energized when a problem gets harder, not less. You're uncomfortable waiting for someone else to find the answer. GPU-accelerated CFD, the turbine blade flow bench, and engine test stands sound more interesting to you than a conference room. Engineers who want to spend their first year doing work that actually matters should apply.
