About The Position

The Special Services Technician performs specialized cleaning and maintenance tasks to support service excellence. The role includes general and detailed cleaning, floor care, and equipment upkeep, while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to work assigned hours and respond to operational needs.

Experience with floor care equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform basic cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including refilling dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, and mopping floors.
Move and reposition furniture as needed; empty trash containers and replace liners.
Inspect trash receptacles before disposal and ensure appropriate waste handling.
Perform specialized cleaning, including gum removal, glass cleaning, and high-dust cleaning.
Respond to special requests such as flood response, spill cleanup, and restroom maintenance.
Restock cleaning carts and supply closets at the end of each shift.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Report maintenance or supply issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
