About The Position

The Tube Bender sets up and operates CNC and other tube-bending machines to produce premium products according to established standards and processes. The role performs bends of varying complexity, including interpreting diagrams with multiple bends, complicated angles, and sensitive tolerances. It also includes checking product quality for leaks and defects, maintaining a safe work environment, and meeting attendance expectations. The position is onsite five days a week and is designated safety sensitive.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience as a tube bender.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance for applicable machines, including the ability to remove dents and troubleshoot fixable quality issues.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, and rulers.
• Good communication skills and ability to train others.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in a high-volume assembly process while continually standing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and other tube-bending machines for bends of varying complexity.

• Perform quality checks using pressure-testing machines to identify leaks and defects.
