TSM Planner (Inventory-Buyer-Logistics)
About The Position
The TSM Planner is responsible for assisting in the logistics and planning of crucial accounts. This role involves managing consignment inventory stocking programs and ensuring the performance of the business at assigned locations. The planner will also travel to customer locations to resolve warehouse product issues and manage tactical requirements per customer agreements. Key responsibilities include managing inventory at customer locations, proactively addressing slow-moving and inactive inventory, facilitating customer meetings, developing new business opportunities, and collaborating with customer engineering on cost-saving initiatives. The role also supports the accounting department with reconciliation and maintains the SIMI database.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of warehouse or shipping and receiving experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be available for On-call duties 24/7 Basis for on-site emergency issues.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Schedule flexibility and time management.

Responsibilities
- Manage consignment inventory stocking programs and be responsible for the performance of the business at the assigned location.
- Travel to customer locations to resolve any warehouse product issues as needed.
- Be responsible for the effective management of tactical requirements per our agreement with the customer.
- Manage inventory at customer location (virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing).
- Review and recommend stocking level increases/decreases.
- Proactively manage slow moving and inactive inventory.
- Facilitate meetings with customers as required.
- Develop new business opportunities.
- Work with customer engineering to develop new alternate sourcing opportunities for cost saving initiatives for customer.
- Assist accounting department with TSM reconciliation questions or concerns.
- Assist MSR-FSR Logistics department as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining SIMI database active and up to date.
- Compile all sites OTD reporting.
