About The Position

The TSM Planner is responsible for assisting in the logistics and planning of crucial accounts. This role involves managing consignment inventory stocking programs and being responsible for the performance of the business at the assigned location. The planner will travel to customer locations to resolve warehouse product issues and ensure effective management of tactical requirements per customer agreements. Key activities include managing inventory at customer locations (virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing), reviewing and recommending stocking level adjustments, proactively managing slow-moving and inactive inventory, facilitating customer meetings to develop new business opportunities, and working with customer engineering on cost-saving sourcing initiatives. The role also supports the accounting department with TSM reconciliation and assists the MSR-FSR Logistics department as needed. Maintaining the SIMI database and compiling site OTD reporting are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of warehouse or shipping and receiving experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be available for On-call duties 24/7 Basis for on-site emergency issues.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Schedule flexibility and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage consignment inventory stocking programs and be responsible for the performance of the business at the assigned location.
  • Travel to customer locations to resolve any warehouse product issues as needed.
  • Ensure effective management of tactical requirements per customer agreements.
  • Manage inventory at customer location, including virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing.
  • Review and recommend stocking level increases/decreases.
  • Proactively manage slow moving and inactive inventory.
  • Facilitate meetings with customers as required to develop new business opportunities.
  • Work with customer engineering to develop new alternate sourcing opportunities for cost saving initiatives for customer.
  • Assist accounting department with TSM reconciliation questions or concerns.
  • Assist MSR-FSR Logistics department as needed.
  • Maintain SIMI database active and up to date.
  • Compile all sites OTD reporting.
