About The Position

MELE Associates is seeking a TSCM Assistant to join our team in Los Alamos, NM. This role involves receiving formal training and on-the-job (OTJ) experience to become competent in providing TSSC services (either TSCM or TEMPEST) to protect NNSA facilities and assets. The assistant will develop the competency to effectively communicate TSSC requirements/issues to various groups and assist in the operation and maintenance of sensitive measurement and survey equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Five years of experience in physical security or law enforcement, information systems, network, or cyber security, electronics repair and maintenance, or electrical, RF or wireless engineering.
Must meet the physical, vision and hearing requirements for TSCM technicians IAW NNSA SD 470.6.
Must demonstrate the required aptitudes needed to pass the ITC Fundamentals Course.
Must be recommended by a certified TSCM technician/practitioner.
Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.

Nice To Haves

Undergraduate degree in an information technology, electronics, electronics, telecommunications, computer technology, security or a related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities
