The Sales Specialist will possess a "can-do" attitude and an innovative spirit, utilizing their knowledge and experience to uncover new, enhanced, and more cost-effective ideas to sell equipment and grow the business. This role covers Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The Sales Specialist will actively pursue contractors in the region to sell products directly to end users. In partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, they will canvass the territory, educating and training contractor customers and/or municipal dealers on the Truvac Trailer line, their applications, operation, and features/benefits. The Sales Specialist must be able to operate the products. They will act as a key liaison between the factory and dealers/customers for problem-solving and other issues. The role involves establishing personal relationships with rental organizations and contractor fleet customers/end users within the region, supporting National and Strategic accounts locally, and transporting product to perform demonstrations and training within the assigned region. Monthly tracking of personal and dealer performed demonstration activity is required. The Sales Specialist will provide support and training to dealers as needed, report sales opportunities through CRM, and maintain accurate scheduling of customer visits, trade shows, demonstrations, and sales calls in Outlook and CRM software. A monthly accomplishment report including a rolling 90-day forecast for new business is required. The role includes conducting regional sales meetings as needed, participating in national sales meetings, and attending/coordinating regional and national trade shows. Recommendations for product changes and new product ideas are encouraged. Timely submission of expense reports is necessary. The Sales Specialist will develop and maintain competitive manufacturers' profiles and report on their activity monthly. All business conducted must be consistent with the company's mission statement and ethical practices. Recommendations for sales and promotional ideas to the Marketing Department and assistance to the Finance Department on credit and collections issues are also part of the role. 100% annual completion of ESGU (product) sales training is required, along with timely follow-up on company-provided sales leads and updating their status in the designated CRM program. Other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned will be performed.
