The Sales Specialist, possessing a "can-do" attitude and an innovative spirit, will use their knowledge and experience to uncover new, enhanced, and more cost-effective ideas to sell equipment and grow the business within the Gulf Coast region (Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma). This role involves actively pursuing contractors to sell products directly to end users, educating and training contractor customers and municipal dealers on the Truvac Trailer line, their applications, operation, and features/benefits. The Sales Specialist must be able to operate the products and act as a key liaison between the factory and dealers/customers for problem-solving. They will establish personal relationships with rental organizations and contractor fleet customers/end users, support National and Strategic accounts locally, and transport product for demonstrations and training within the assigned region. The role requires reporting sales opportunities through CRM, maintaining accurate scheduling, submitting monthly accomplishment reports with a 90-day forecast, conducting regional sales meetings, and participating in national sales meetings and trade shows. Additionally, the Sales Specialist will recommend product changes and new product ideas, submit expense reports, develop competitive manufacturer profiles, ensure business conduct aligns with company mission and ethics, recommend sales and promotional ideas to Marketing, and assist Finance with credit and collections as needed. A 100% annual completion of ESGU sales training is required, along with timely follow-up on company-provided leads and updating their status in the CRM program. Other duties, assignments, and special projects may be assigned.
