The Innovative CPA Group is seeking a Trust and Estate Tax Manager/Director to join its CPA firm. Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience with estate and trust administration.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a relevant field.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office programs, and similar tools.
• Professional and effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative spirit.

Nice To Haves

• CPA license.
• Experience with CCH programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, prepare, and review complex estate, trust, and gift tax returns.
• Perform tax and accounting research using research tools and communicate findings with partners and/or clients.
• Handle complex estate and trust administration, including probate filings and probate accountings, and review federal and state estate tax returns.
• Draft and review responses to notices from federal and state tax agencies.
