About The Position

Performs all duties required to manufacture roof/floor trusses and wall panels on the shop floor. Responsible for material handling of lumber and truss plates, cutting lumber per shop drawings, setting jig templates and truss geometry per shop drawings, assembling parts to produce trusses per shop drawings, and stacking and banding finished goods per order. Conforms to all safety requirements while working in the shop and keeps the shop work area clean. Performs other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Comfortable using the following equipment: Forklift; Skill saw; Miter saw; Component saw; Linear saw; Tape measure; Hammer; Wrench for jig hardware
• Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and tolerances
• Ability to build to manufacturing specifications and tolerances
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
