About The Position
Performs all duties required to manufacture roof/floor trusses and wall panels on the shop floor.
Requirements
- Comfortable using the following equipment: Forklift; Skill saw; Miter saw; Component saw; Linear saw; Tape measure; Hammer; Wrench for jig hardware
- Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and tolerances
- Ability to build to manufacturing specifications and tolerances
Responsibilities
- Responsible for material handling of lumber and truss plates
- Cuts lumber per shop drawings
- Sets jig templates and truss geometry per shop drawings
- Assembles parts to produce trusses per shop drawings
- Stacks and bands finished goods per order
- Conforms to all safety requirements while working in the shop
- Keeps the shop work area clean
- Performs other duties, as assigned
