About The Position

Cascade Mfg Co is a nationwide manufacturer of engineered wood and cold-formed steel truss systems for residential, agricultural, commercial, multifamily, industrial, religious, healthcare, and military projects throughout the US. With our strategically located facilities in Iowa, Texas, and Georgia, Cascade Mfg provides design, engineering, and large-scale production capabilities that support contractors and developers across the country. We are currently looking for 1st & 2nd Shift Truss Assemblers to join our hardworking team in Pleasantville, Iowa. With competitive pay ranging from $21.59-$23.59 per hour, you will work individually or with a team to assemble trusses according to project specifications. This opportunity also includes potential roles as a Sawyer, Catcher, and Stacker.

Requirements

• Basic construction, manufacturing, or carpentry experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work individually or with a team to assemble trusses according to project specifications.
• Build wood trusses to be used in various construction applications.
• Measure and position truss components and fasten them together using hand tools and production equipment.
• Follow design specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished trusses to ensure quality standards.
• Help keep the work area organized and safe while meeting production goals.
