About The Position

Westaff is hiring for Picker/Packers and Assemblers in Farmington, CT. We have multiple shifts available, including a new weekend shift starting in June. This role involves assembling products or components according to work instructions and quality standards, maintaining accurate inventory documentation, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidates should have previous warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with repetitive tasks
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Assemble products or components according to work instructions and quality standards
• Maintain accurate counts, labels, and documentation for inventory and production
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
• Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, staging, and material handling
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) if certified or trained
• Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the facility
