About The Position

Wanship seeks a FULL- TIME Truckload planner to help move our business to the next level. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated professional capable of managing the workload and recurring responsibilities of a load planner and delivering world-class service to our customers. This is a great opportunity for you to join a growing company. With the help of your team, you will routinely put the freight puzzle together and bring it to life and completion. Some shipments may require price negotiations, others will require special handling & appointments to be scheduled, but all will be cared for from start to finish by you and your team. Requirements

MUST HAVE Prior transportation experience, load planning, and truckload distribution.
A great work history
Good Attitude
Creative, strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflict
The ability to work with the latest technologies
Excellent Communication Skills

Responsibilities

Work with existing customers, new customers, freight brokers, internal staff, other transportation and distribution companies, drivers etc..
Book, coordinate, schedule, track, and report on weekly routes.
Follow the order from inception through billing, including order entry, scheduling, and providing proof of delivery to the customers
Problem-solve as challenges are presented and provide updates to the customer
Work to build and maintain long-lasting relationships
