Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the truck fleet functional and well serviced.

Requirements

Requires an Associates Degree in a maintenance or related field and two to four years experience or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field
Clean and valid Class A CDL with T and N endorsements, bulk haulers license, and D.O.T. medical card
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
Ability to read and write instructions in English
Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required

Responsibilities

Maintain and service fleet equipment and facilities
Perform preventative maintenance programs for fleet equipment and facilities
DOT Compliance as it relates to equipment
Assist in maintaining records, files, instruction manuals, and necessary parts and supplies for all fleet equipment
Assist in collecting all the license and permits for the trucks
Responsible for ensuring all trucks are in good running condition
Model Glanbia values, policies and procedures
Develop solutions to fleet maintenance related problems
Demonstrate professionalism in verbal and written communication and in behavior
Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
Perform other duties as assigned
