Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the truck fleet functional and well serviced.

Requirements

  • Requires an Associates Degree in a maintenance or related field and two to four years experience or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field
  • Clean and valid Class A CDL with T and N endorsements, bulk haulers license, and D.O.T. medical card
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
  • Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
  • Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
  • Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
  • Ability to read and write instructions in English
  • Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service fleet equipment and facilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs for fleet equipment and facilities
  • DOT Compliance as it relates to equipment
  • Assist in maintaining records, files, instruction manuals, and necessary parts and supplies for all fleet equipment
  • Assist in collecting all the license and permits for the trucks
  • Responsible for ensuring all trucks are in good running condition
  • Model Glanbia values, policies and procedures
  • Develop solutions to fleet maintenance related problems
  • Demonstrate professionalism in verbal and written communication and in behavior
  • Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
  • Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Regular and timely attendance required
