Truck Washer
About The Position
The Truck Washer performs routine cleaning and supports daily plant operations under management supervision. The role includes assisting with CGMP logs, helping production supervisors and other personnel with special projects, following plant CGMP policies, and training on plant maintenance and daily work activities. The employee also trains on plant equipment, including forklifts and boom lifts, and on driving tractor-trailer equipment and parking it in the wash bay. The position requires maintaining clean and orderly work areas, using assigned safety equipment, following company safety rules, attending scheduled safety meetings, and potentially serving on the Safety Committee. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of general housekeeping and sanitation procedures.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Good working knowledge of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily logs kept for CGMPs.
- Assist the Production Supervisor and/or other personnel with special duties or projects.
- Follow plant CGMP policies.
- Train with plant personnel on preventive maintenance and daily work activities.
- Train on plant equipment, including forklifts and boom lifts.
- Train on driving tractor-trailer equipment and parking in the wash bay.
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
- Use assigned safety equipment, including a hard hat, safety goggles, and ear plugs, and observe company safety rules and regulations.
- Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings and potentially serve on the Safety Committee.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
