About The Position

US Foods is seeking a Truck Washer to join their team. This role is crucial to the success of the organization, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the fleet. The Truck Washer will be responsible for washing the exterior of tractors and the interior of trailers, checking fluid levels, and reporting any service issues. This position offers a starting pay rate of $20/hour and a schedule of Sunday - Thursday, 7pm - 4am. Requirements

High school diploma/GED preferred
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
Must have a valid state Driver's License
Ability to drive and operate Fleet equipment, tractor, trailer and service vehicles
Must be able to work Sunday - Thursday PM shift
Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Must be able to frequently climb up to Thermo-King units
Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Must have Computer experience
Must have ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Must be able to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

Washing exterior of tractors
Washing interior of trailers
Washing Thermo-King units
Checking oil levels
Washing windows
Checking tire pressures
Maintaining proper fluid levels in tractors and T-K units
Reporting service issues to the maintenance shop
Logging in and out of the ShopFax maintenance system to track assigned jobs
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines
Attending all required company meetings and training
Performing other duties as assigned
Complying with EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to the shop and fleet
Communicating with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills
