About The Position
This position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic to be washed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas Driver’s License
- Pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to shovel
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet
- Ability to bend, stretch, reach
- Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
- 3 months work history listed on the application with the past 24 months
- Minimum 180 day waiting period from previous Tyson employment
- Applicants must be 18 years of age
- Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- Pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment
Nice To Haves
- Prefer trailer experience
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times or more will not be considered.
- Willing to work A, B, C or D shift.
Responsibilities
- Use a yard truck to transport 40-foot trailers to and from the production yard/holding area to be washed.
- Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more.
- Use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
- Read and understand policies, procedures and regulations.
- Document information.
- Communicate with others written and verbally.
