About The Position

The Truck Unloader at HomeGoods is responsible for supporting store operations and delivering a highly satisfied customer experience. The role includes engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and upholding operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs and may perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers while embodying the company's customer experience principles.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
