About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Truck &Trailer Washer team member to join our Fleet Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, fueling, and cleaning the interior and exterior of our fleet tractors and transportation vehicles. By keeping our equipment clean, fueled, and ready to go, you will help minimize operational delays and maintain McKee Foods' high standard of brand visibility on the road.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Possession of or ability to obtain a McKee Foods lift truck license
Ability to meet physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Basic computer operation skills
Strong perception, judgment, and decision-making skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in fueling/maneuvering tractor-trailers
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Yard Truck Operator License
Experience with IBM Maximo or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems

Responsibilities

Fuel tractors and other company vehicles efficiently and safely
Wash tractors and trailers using designated wash facilities and equipment
Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of tractors, trailers, and fleet vehicles
Safely maneuver and park tractors and trailers across McKee Foods property
Service vehicle fluids in company vehicles as needed
Perform minor vehicle maintenance repairs
Generate work orders in the maintenance computer system and log stock/issued parts.
