About The Position
JPW Structural Contracting located in Syracuse, NY is currently seeking a Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join their team! This role involves performing routine maintenance work on equipment, maintaining service records, and operating and inspecting equipment. The position requires the individual to work in a safe manner and perform other related tasks as identified.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and machines
- Possess a valid CDL-B license
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random testing during course of employment.
- Possess the coordination, physical strength, and agility to complete required tasks within the allotted time frame.
- Able to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with body, arms and/or legs without restriction.
- Acceptable visual acuity, either corrected or uncorrected.
- Able to work at heights and in extreme temperatures and moderately inclement weather
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer knowledge a plus.
- Inspection certification a plus
