About The Position
The Irvine Distribution Center in Irvine, CA has an opening for a Maintenance Servicer in our Transportation Department. This role involves performing essential maintenance tasks on tractors and trailers to ensure their operational readiness. The position requires manual dexterity, good coordination, and the ability to work in various conditions, including close quarters and potentially hazardous environments. The work environment is not temperature-controlled and may involve exposure to outdoor elements.
Requirements
- Ability to drive tractors and fuel tankers – CDL not required (Class C Required)
- Ability to service vehicles
- Available for any shift
- Adherence, knowledge and understanding of Safe work practices.
Nice To Haves
- Prior tire repair experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Fueling and washing tractors and trailers
- Checking all fluid levels
- Checking all lights and tires
- Changing Oil, Filters and tires
- Lubing equipment
- Performing BPM & APM services
- Performing other minor repairs which do not require a certified mechanic's knowledge
