About The Position

The Scheduler serves a critical role in coordinating incoming orders to company trucks and export orders to shipping containers. The role also prepares driver delivery routes. This position is responsible for planning incoming customer orders, determining the weekly truck schedule, and preparing truck routes to ensure delivery metrics and business operations are met consistently. The Scheduler will also plan export containers with outside contacts, communicate scheduling and shipping information to production, and communicate the production schedule with management to assure on-time delivery. This role works with Purchasing & Dispatch to coordinate the pick-up of product within a route, plans and communicates test orders for project releases, and communicates with other Marvin facilities to optimize truck routes. Additionally, the Scheduler provides back-up to other members in the department as needed and manages re-checks and field service orders.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required
• Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, organization, communication skills, and decision making is required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is preferred
