Wieland is hiring a Truck Repairer . The Truck Repairer w ill be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and repairing manuals. Developing parts lists for repair and maintenance of company mobile equipment. Performs all maintenance, repairs, and PM's on company mobile equipment including hydraulics, circuitry, electronic SCR Control System. This role is located in Buffalo, NY and will be fully on-site. Hourly Pay Range : $36.25 Work Schedule : M-TH 4pm-2am Pay Schedule : Weekly At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience maintaining and repairing industrial mobile equipment (forklifts), or automotive
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Service lift trucks, batteries, motors, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
  • Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle universal waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Assist with snow removal and other facility support activities as needed.
