About The Position

SMART Tech (Skilled, Mentored, And Real-World Trained) Truck Mechanic - Diesel Technician - Entry Level. Part Time - Must be Current Student in College/Trade School. Clarke Power Services is looking for a S.M.A.R.T Technician to maintain their commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves using smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record repairs. The Mentorship Training Program allows trainees to work with experienced mechanics, gaining real-world experience in diesel truck repair. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and a strong interest in truck mechanics.

Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled in a Diesel Repair Program or have previous exposure to and strong interest in truck mechanics.
• Desire and Ability to learn
• Strong Work Ethic
• Must be able to Work Independently
• Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
• Must be current student at college or technical school
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card

Responsibilities

• Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs.
• Work in shop with experienced mentor mechanics.
• Gain a wide range of real-world experience related to diesel truck repair.
• Perform Light & Medium Duty Truck Repair.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
