About The Position

NOVO Health Services provides linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, with a focus on safety and infection control. Its regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and use modern processing equipment and processes. Truck loaders operate machinery and load items by hand onto trucks. The role requires physical strength and stamina for repetitive physical work, attention to safety, communication and teamwork, and the ability to manage time so trucks are prepared for departure according to schedule.

Requirements

• Physical strength to lift and carry heavy loads and safely place them on truck beds.
• Stamina for repetitive physical activity and long shifts.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices.
• Verbal communication skills and ability to complete loading reports.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with team members.
• Time management skills to prepare trucks for scheduled departure.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and load items by hand onto trucks.
• Lift, carry, and safely place loads on truck beds.
• Coordinate with other loaders as part of a team.
• Complete loading reports for submission to supervisors.
• Prepare trucks for departure according to schedule.
