Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in industrial manufacturing
Hazardous Material Handling experience
Forklift License - Preferably
Offer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc.
Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management
Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly
Proficiency in Math Skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios
Proficiency in Internal manufacturing systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift
Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift
Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination
Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cold in winter months and hot in the summer months
Boots: steel or composite toed
Safety Glasses
Gloves: latex, work gloves, etc.
Hearing Protection
Sleeves: cut resistant
Properly fitted clothing
Hard Hat (in designated areas)

Responsibilities

Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Handle and dispose of hazardous material safely and per policy.
Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed.
Comply with ISO 9001 standards.
Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents.
Communicate internally concerning deviations or general requests.
Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
Verify compliance to local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Complete environmental reports as necessary.
Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances.
Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
Follow direction and product required quantities.
Verify drums are completed to daily schedule requirements at an acceptable level of quality.
Ensure all shipping materials are used correctly.
Ensure drums are loaded correctly in appropriate trailer.
Arrange dock areas to be clean, tidy, and safe.
Sort and rearrange rejected drums into designated area.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with other operators, maintenance, and management.
Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
Carry out minor maintenance overhauls and parts changes, including designated preventative maintenance.
Track issues with downtime and/or equipment.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Perform all other duties as required or requested.
