Entry Level Truck Driver Class A
About The Position
10-4 Logistics USA is hiring entry-level Class A CDL truck drivers for regional routes. The role is open to recent CDL school graduates and new CDL-A holders who are ready to gain experience behind the wheel. No prior professional driving experience is required; at least 120 hours of completed CDL school training is sufficient to qualify. Trainee positions are available for drivers new to the trucking industry. Drivers are paid $0.55 to $0.65 per mile, with an estimated 2,700 miles weekly and approximate weekly take-home pay of $1,550 to $1,780. Regional routes provide home time weekly or every two weeks.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Complete at least 120 hours of CDL school training.
- Complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) through an FMCSA-registered training provider.
- Have an acceptable driving record.
- Be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and enroll in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, as required by federal regulations.
- No professional driving experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Comply with Department of Transportation regulations, including hours-of-service rules.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
- Deliver freight on schedule and communicate promptly with dispatch.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional standards on the road.
