About The Position

The Truck Driver plays a vital role within the organization by operating vehicles and equipment to support assigned departmental tasks. This includes the operation of dewatering systems and transporting dewatered sludge to designated application sites, along with other assigned duties.

Requirements

Class A CDL required.
Minimum of two years of related experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of college coursework or vocational training in a relevant field.
Knowledge of cleaning tools, techniques, and required supplies.
Knowledge of groundskeeping procedures.
Knowledge of occupational safety protocols and equipment handling.
Skill in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and tools.
Skill in selecting appropriate equipment for various tasks with moderate discretion.
Ability to accurately input and process data and complete work forms.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and the public.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow procedures.
Ability to perform work that requires constant attention and problem-solving under routine and high-pressure situations.
Normal vision, hearing, and depth perception are essential for safe and effective job performance.

Responsibilities

Operate end dump tractor trailer
Operate dewatering equipment and belt presses efficiently.
Perform manual labor, including adjusting polymer feeds and cleaning machinery.
Conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles and assigned equipment.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by department protocols.
Perform general housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks.
Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for all operated equipment.
Lubricate and maintain tractors and spreading equipment.
Attend safety training and strictly adhere to company safety policies.
