About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for a dedicated route transporting automotive parts and supplies from Lancaster, Texas. Drivers complete a route with one transfer in San Antonio and one delivery stop, unload freight as needed, and scan products during transfers and deliveries. The position is home daily and operates Monday through Friday, with an 8 PM dispatch. Drivers use late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras.

The role represents Penske and its clients and requires safe, timely freight delivery and strong customer service. Drivers must be able to meet the schedule and work at the required location, maintain alertness, and operate safely. Compensation averages $80,002 annually, with additional performance incentives of up to $10,400 annually.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL; applicants must be domiciled in the United States and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• Three years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency as required by federal law.
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location.
• Completion of the Penske employment application and submission to a background investigation and drug screening.
• Ability to accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
• Ability to see and hear, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

Responsibilities

• Transport automotive parts and supplies from Lancaster, Texas.
• Complete a dedicated route with one transfer in San Antonio and one delivery stop.
• Unload freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or rolling cages as needed.
• Scan products during transfer and delivery.
• Deliver products safely and on time while providing customer service and representing Penske and its clients.
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain a constant state of alertness.
