About The Position

Hood Distribution, a growing hardwood lumber wholesaler, is seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers to deliver lumber and building materials to cabinet and millwork shops and lumber dealers. The role offers the ability to be home, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Drivers follow dispatcher and logistics directions, help unload deliveries as needed, and ensure materials are properly loaded and secured. They must comply with DOT regulations and help maintain a safe working environment. The position pays $24.00–$25.00. Benefits are available on the first day of the month following completion of one month of continuous full-time employment. Applicants must consent to a background check and drug screen; employment offers are contingent on meeting background-check standards and passing the required drug test. Hired candidates must provide documentation of legal authorization to work in the United States. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Requirements

Valid state-issued CDL Class A driver’s license.
Clean or good driving record.
Familiarity with and ability to operate a forklift as needed.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Professional, customer-oriented attitude.
