About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring a Class C truck driver to operate bobtail trucks transporting goods between retail stores and designated facilities. The role emphasizes safety, service, and route efficiency. The driver performs daily vehicle inspections using Geotab, follows DMV and company safety regulations, loads and secures goods, transports and unloads them according to route manifests, completes required documentation and submits photos, and maintains a clean, professional appearance while providing good service. The driver must operate trucks and related equipment safely and responsibly, maintain a valid California Class C license and an acceptable driving record, and pass Big Joe Operator certification within 90 days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Air brakes experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid California Class C license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of bobtail driving experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities
