This position has a fixed rotational schedule but will need to be flexible as we are starting up our Ennis fleet.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Valid Commercial driver’s license (CDL “A”) required
Self-starter who works well independently
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Skilled and confident driver
Comfortable maneuvering tractor into loading and unloading positions
Alert, focused and detailed oriented
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. at a time
An innate sense of direction
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
Strong verbal communicator

Nice To Haves

2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred

Responsibilities

Operate and safely drive your assigned commercial company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs.
Transport pallet of goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination
Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with the clients
Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
Perform inspections of your company vehicle prior to and at the end of your shift
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Notify Transportation Supervisor/Manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Track and report working hours
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance with the weather/road conditions. Make safety a priority always.
