About The Position

At High Transit, we are the specialty hauler for High Industries and a trusted partner throughout the Mid-Atlantic, transporting oversized and overweight loads safely and efficiently. We handle every detail, from routing and permitting to escorting and delivery. Our drivers are the heart of our operation, backed by a safety-first culture and a supportive team. We are seeking a Truck Driver/Delivery Representative to join our team at High Steel Service Center in Lancaster, PA. This role is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to deliver company products to job-sites, customers, and other various locations. Ideal candidates will have the ability to start as early as 4:00 am, Monday - Friday, and perform overnight trips up to two (2) days per week.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of CDL A driving experience.
• Ability to start as early as 4:00 am.
• Ability to perform overnight trips up to two (2) days per week.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability in sound decision making process.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience hauling a flatbed trailer.
• Previous steel material hauling experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver company products to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in good working condition and report any issues to supervision.
• Verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load.
• Assist in unloading of load as requested.
• Maintain all required DOT documentation.
