About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is hiring a Truck Driver at its Highland, Illinois facility. The role transports materials safely, efficiently, and on time to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers. Duties include picking up steel coils, making local deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas, and completing other pickups and deliveries as assigned. The driver operates Truck Unit 20 and uses trailers, tarps, and straps to secure loads. The position also requires accurate delivery documentation, routine vehicle inspections, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. A current Class A CDL is required.

The core schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Overtime may extend beyond those hours and may be mandatory. The hourly rate is $24.87. Candidates must live within 50 miles of Highland, Illinois, except active-duty military service members, who are exempt from that geographic limitation. No relocation benefit is offered, and employment immigration sponsorship or support is unavailable for this position.

Requirements

• Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
• Participate in and comply with DOT-regulated random drug testing requirements.
• Reside within 50 miles of Highland, Illinois; active-duty military service members are exempt from this geographic limitation.

Responsibilities
