Truck Driver (CDL Class B)
About The Position
Boston Globe Media is hiring CDL Class B drivers for its delivery team. Drivers make deliveries within Greater New England from the Taunton facility. The position pays $32.72 per hour and has a 35-hour work week. It operates on the overnight third shift as part of a seven-day operation and includes weekly weekend and holiday work. The role begins with two months of training; the schedule will be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview. This union position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B.
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate, to be presented at the interview.
- RMV driving record, to be presented at the interview.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Physical ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift at delivery locations.
- Criminal background checks are conducted on all hired employees.

Nice To Haves
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift; certification training will be provided.
