About The Position

The Truck Driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading petroleum products at Sunoco and customer locations. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, Department of Transportation regulations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Drivers must be able to work rotating or varying shift schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Eighteen months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL with X endorsement (Tanker and Hazmat).
• Pass a current DOT physical.
• Possess and maintain a D.O.T. Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA Medical Standards.
• Be able and willing to obtain a TWIC card, depending on location.
• Demonstrate safe operation of the assigned vehicle.
• Safety-focused, with a sense of urgency, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Able to work rotating or various shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck.
• Safely transport a loaded vehicle to its assigned delivery point.
• Prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal D.O.T. regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
