About The Position

This role involves driving trucks to transport materials and equipment between job sites, vendors, and the company headquarters. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for assisting with general upkeep of the building and shop, including cleaning and organizing. Additionally, the position requires operating a forklift and assisting field personnel with tool and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks between job sites, vendors and Prairie Mechanical headquarters to make deliveries
• Maintain communication with supervisor and field contacts to safely and efficiently make deliveries
• Load and unload trucks/trailers
• Assist with building and shop upkeep (to include sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, organizing equipment/parts/tools, etc.)
• Drive and operate fork lift
• Help field manpower with checkout of power tools, safety/personal protection equipment
• Assist with inspection of equipment and tools, dispose of unsafe or worn equipment/tools, notify Logistics Supervisor to replenish equipment/tools as necessary
