About The Position

The Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of cargo, equipment, and materials within and around the airport grounds. This role requires operating tractor-trailers in compliance with aviation and safety regulations to support ground handling operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
  • Previous experience driving tractor-trailers, preferably in an airport or logistics environment.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
  • Strong driving and maneuvering skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with airport operations and aviation safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport cargo, baggage, and equipment between aircraft, warehouses, and airport locations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to airport traffic regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
  • Communicate effectively with operations teams to ensure timely delivery and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate transport logs and documentation.
