About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves transporting equipment between various projects in New York State, loading and unloading equipment from the lowbed, and operating tools and equipment efficiently to support jobsite needs. The Truck Driver will collaborate with team members to maintain project schedules and communicate effectively to address worksite needs and changes.
Requirements
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and adapt to varying worksite conditions.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work varying hours throughout the week.
- Valid New York State CDL B license.
- Ability to ingress/egress equipment.
- Must pass a post-offer physical exam, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Ongoing FMCSA regulated drug and alcohol testing.
