About The Position

We’re looking for a proactive and safety‑minded Truck Driver to join our Everett Team (Monday–Friday, 7:30am.– 4:00pm)! At Great Little Box Company, our drivers are home every night—no overnight trips required. As a Great Little Box Company Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivery of our custom manufactured packaging products to our customers in a safe and professional manner. You are an integral part of our Everett Team that is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our Washington State customers and beyond. Our drivers place high value on great service, going the extra mile and on-time delivery. The role requires excellent attention to detail, with a high level of team-work which includes being a back-up Shipper-Receiver. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience driving 5-ton truck (under 26,000 GVW).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience driving 53’ Tractor Trailer.
  • Must have current CLASS A CDL
  • Ability to utilize maps and other trip planning aids
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely bend and twist
  • Must have Forklift experience (certification an asset)
  • Must have warehouse experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player with excellent organizational, time management and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough Knowledge of the Snohomish, Pierce and King county roads an asset
  • Ability to perform minor repairs on truck an asset

Responsibilities

  • Load truck daily with forklift or pallet jack for deliveries per schedule
  • Deliver product to customers daily
  • Prepare paperwork and ensure proper sign offs when delivering product
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Deliver product on time and accurately while ensuring safe and responsible driving
  • Maintain daily vehicle logs
  • Follow truck maintenance guidelines
  • Assist in shipping department unloading and loading goods as directed by Shipper & Receiver
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
