About The Position

The Truck Driver transports equipment and materials throughout and between job sites. The role requires safe, compliant operation of company vehicles, vehicle inspections and maintenance, accurate truck logs, and loading and unloading materials. The driver must communicate equipment and material issues, report vehicle accidents or incidents promptly, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Previous experience transporting equipment and materials.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
Must pass a drug screening and background check and complete all required pre-employment screenings.
Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements.
Must be able to travel and cross state lines.
Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles and work reliably both independently and in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in the energy services industry.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable state and federal DOT standards and regulations.
Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
Report vehicle accidents or incidents immediately to management.
Maintain a truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Transport materials to and from specified job sites.
Load and unload trucks.
Conduct daily truck inspections.
Communicate equipment and material issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
