About The Position
An upcoming retirement has created an opportunity at G&E Contracting LP for an experienced Class 1 Driver (Truck and Pup). This is a full-time position based out G&E’s Langford yard in Victoria with jobsites in the local area, reporting to the Dispatcher.
Requirements
- Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract is required
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience driving truck and pup
- Ability to work different shifts, if required
- Safety conscious, possess willingness to learn and practice safe work habits, and actively participate in worksite safety in general
- Able to work within a team environment
- Able to take direction and instructions
Nice To Haves
- Basic equipment operating and loading experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Loading and driving (truck and pup) materials/products to various job sites.
- Maintaining vehicle and equipment (i.e. grease and clean truck).
