About The Position

AFO is looking for a Truck & Tractor Trailer Driver to work in Fort Sill, OK. The Truck Driver drives a truck and tractor-trailer to transport passengers between various types of local pick-up and drop-off points on Fort Sill. Supports daily transportation operations at Fort Sill, OK. This role is transporting Soldiers and military personnel across the installation per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining strict safety and security standards. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
Valid and Current CDL A (with air brakes endorsement, no restrictions).
Two (2) years of successful experience operating a tractor trailer.
Clean driving record for past seven (7) years.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation results, obtain and maintain a CAC.
Commitment to safe and compliant transportation operations.
Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission Trucks.
Ability to pass DoT physical, with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator desired.

Responsibilities

Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules.
Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
Coordinate with supervisor to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
Comply with installation access and security requirements.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and system updates (Tonnage Reports, DPAS, LMP).
Assist with general support tasks and other duties as assigned.
