About The Position

Safely and compliantly drives a 44-seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes on the Fort Sill Army installation, according to a time schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents to the transportation motor pool (TMP).

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
• Clean driving record for past seven (7) years.
• Ability to pass a DoT physical.
• Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
• Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules.
• Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
• Coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
• Comply with installation access and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Other duties as assigned.
