About The Position

CHS Illinois in Sycamore, Illinois, is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist. The role combines truck driving as needed with work in the chemical shed, seed treatment, and other basic operations tasks. This is a Monday–Friday position with employees home daily. Overtime is required during the spring and fall busy seasons.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in operations and/or trucking operations.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Agriculture background.
• Customer service experience.
• Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading and unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, including hours-of-service requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain a strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties.
